What are the borders and limits of our human senses in times of crisis? What is our relationship with other sensing entities in the world we are currently living in? How do different bodies sense differently? These are some of the questions that Sensory Orders Conversations will take on through a series of live and lively online talks and discussions between select participants of the Sensory Orders exhibition that is currently running at Laznia Center for Contemporary Art in Gdańsk, Poland, together with curators Erik Adigard and Chris Salter. While the physical exhibition remains closed for the moment due to COVID regulations in Poland, and the exhibition has moved online, this series of three talks with international artists, scholars, curators and researchers participating in the exhibition, aims to dig deeper into the larger question of how can we make sense in times of extreme precarity, uncertainty and crisis.
