Sheila Ribeiro is a Brazilian-Canadian nondisciplinary artist and scholar. Associate Professor in the Interdisciplinary Arts Program at the Federal University of Bahia (Brazil), with teaching and research centered on Transcultural Studies and Artistic Practices, Global North–South frictions, embodied methodologies, cross-cultural sensory practices, and speculative approaches to media and contemporary arts. Collaborating Professor at the School of Communications and Arts of the University of São Paulo (ECA–USP) in the field of body, art, and fashion. Represented by Postmasters Gallery (NYC).
