Amanda Thomaz Monteiro

Amanda Thomaz Monteiro is a researcher at the Laboratory of Experimentation in Communication and Organizations (Pólen) and the Research Group on Discourses and Aesthetics of Difference (DIZ), both affiliated with the Federal University of Viçosa (UFV). She is a doctoral candidate in Communication at the Federal University of Juiz de Fora (UFJF); holds a bachelor’s degree in Social Communication with a specialization in Public Relations from the Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFMG); a specialist degree in Strategic Marketing Management from UFMG; and a master’s degree in Education from the Federal University of Vales do Jequitinhonha e Mucuri (UFVJM). Her current research interests include: mediatization, writings of the self, subjectivities, organizations, aesthetics of difference, Atmospheric Studies, and tensions of temporality.
