Neslihan Sriram-Uzundal is pursuing a Ph.D. in the Department of Education, specializing in Education Studies. She has a teaching degree (German/English) and a Master of Arts in German Literature. Her interests comprise race theories, literary theories, systems theories, and theoretical frameworks evolving around epistemic injustice, sensory studies, gender studies, and cultural studies. Her thesis project aims at a comparison of the sensory experiences of racism of Turkish minorities in the German and Canadian education systems. Next to her Ph.D., Neslihan teaches German at a Montréal school.
